Procedure for military preparation follows certain measures and it can vary from one nation to another. Some exercises are detailed, some are extremely brutal whereas, some others are simple yet crazy.
In the video, it is seen that US marine snipers had to bathe in rancid ponds for one month. This kind of practice helps them to learn about the movements better. It will continue for a month until the marines become marsh than a fighter.
Only after the crap mold is over, the snipers are considered to be ready to take part in the battle.
