After the massive havoc caused by storms Dennis and Ciara, this is the Europeans’ turn to name a storm.
Named Jorge by the Spanish, this recent storm has been a cause of major destruction and inconvenience in the UK and Ireland.
The storm hit the UK real bad and the effects were also noticed in Ireland. However, not everyone was affected in a negative way by the storm.
In the aftermath of the storm, some guys from Tipperary got out on their jet skis and went skiing on the roads, as if it were their very own skiing resort.
The scene was awe-inspiring and funny at the same time.
These folks might be the only ones who were able to get some fun out of storm Jorge. According to the latest figures, there has been three times the average annual rain in Ireland in just a couple of months.
It inherently means that not most of the people are happy with Jorge.
The situation has been made worse by the occurrence of three storms in the area in succession.
Due to these storms, happening one after another, the land is already waterlogged, making flooding all the more imminent.
The area where the jet ski guys are performing is most likely one of the junctions of the N65 road between Borrisokane in Tipperary and Portumna in County Galway.
This area is one of the most likely ones to be flooded and that is not the news anyone likes to hear.
The video, shared by someone going by the name Tomás Ó Sé on Twitter, has racked up above 3,000 likes in just a few hours.
A social media user, quite impressed by the act, commented: “Some make hay, some make waves.”
Another wrote: “That looks like great craic in fairnes.” Yet another said: “It would only happen in Ireland brilliant.”
These guys are giving us a life lesson; when everything is going against all the plans, you can still enjoy things if you are up to it.
Replaced!
