A 31-year-old woman decided to take revenge on her Tinder date after he turned out to be engaged.
Kimberly Anne, from Palm Beach County, Florida, found a man on Tinder and they decided to meet after chatting for a while and exchanging numbers.
Before meeting him, Kimberly decided to do some research about the man and when she found out he’d got engaged a month ago through his Facebook account, she was left shocked.
When she confronted him, he denied it was him.
Kimberly said: “When I started scrolling on Facebook it brought up suggested friends and I recognised him immediately from his profile picture.”
“I thought I’d take a look and the first thing I noticed was that it said he was in a relationship.”
She said she wasn’t emotionally invested yet but she felt really bad for his fiancé and decided to tell her about her cheating fiance.
She sent the screenshot of their Tinder chat to the cheating man’s fiancé.
She said: “My whole body was shaking when I was sending these messages because I didn’t know how she was going to react.”
“I felt so awful and partially responsible that I could potentially be breaking this woman’s heart.”
However, his fiancé just replied, ‘it’s ok it’s not your fault, thanks’ and she noticed neither of them changed their relationship statuses.
Kimberly blocked him and unmatched him on Tinder but found it weird that his fiancé was so clam and was not at all shocked that her fiance was cheating on her.
She said: “Her response was so calm and minimal that I don’t know if she was in shock or maybe this was something that had happened before and she wasn’t really surprised by it.”
After a few days, she noticed the man had changed his profile picture to one of him and his fiancé hugging.
She said she would have ended the engagement immediately but that’s his fiancé’s choice.
Kimberly said she will now be more careful as she wants her next relationship to be her last.
