Coronavirus or Covid -19 pandemic has hit the entire world and has put a pause on life.
While the world is now limited indoors, we are not the only ones to be affected by it.
Netflix’s The Witcher, the phenomenal show that would have kept us all occupied while we are locked down in our houses has itself been affected.
Amid fears of coronavirus, the production of season 2 of Netflix’s original The Witcher has been put on a halt.
The shoot of the second season of this live-action show had just started a couple of weeks ago in the UK.
But with the outburst and mega spread of the virus, the shoot has been put on a hold.
The UK already has over 1100+ cases reported of the virus and it is spreading like wildfire.
Netflix had just announced in the USA and Canada that all the live shows will not be filmed for at least 2 weeks.
Followed by Amazon, NBC, Disney+, FX, and Apple TV announcing the same supporting in the world war of taking coronavirus down.
The Witcher is not the only show put on hold. Mulan, Fourth season of Stranger Things, No Time To Die, Marvel TV shows, A Quiet Place Part II, and plenty more are affected by the virus and the shootings of all have been delayed.
There is no official announcement yet of when will the show resume producing. It was, however, a wise idea to put the production on hold for a while.
We hope the production will resume in a time of a couple of weeks.
With the widespread of the virus, no one around the world is safe, even if it is a celebrity.
Tom Hanks and his wife Rita Williams were tested positive with the virus and several other celebrities can soon come out with it too.
At the time of an international emergency, it is best to stay indoors and save yourself.
