A five-year-old girl celebrated her birthday with her imaginary friends spraying Lysol after her party was canceled due to coronavirus crisis.
Jacey Rudd from Dallas, Texas was going to a bowling and arcade game center, Legoland and the Barbie store with her mother and sister to celebrate her birthday.
However, she was forced to celebrate her birthday at her home due to the coronavirus outbreak as everyone is advised to avoid social gatherings.
The family decided to throw Jacey a party at home where she celebrated her birthday with her imaginary friends.
Her grandma cooked her chicken and the family ordered a real cake. She got some dolls and Lysol cans as gifts. The family let her spray the Lysol cans to show her how to clean.
Her mother Brittany Bush-Rudd told the New York Post: “She was able to get some dolls and she was excited because we let her spray the Lysol cans to show her how to clean.
She was so excited to hold the can like an adult.
”The mother said they couldn’t do much to celebrate Jacey’s birthday but she didn’t complain and liked everything and was very happy.
The mother said: “Everything we did wasn’t much, but she liked it anyway. A kid is thanking you for Lysol and a doll!”
Jacey is in isolation at home and is not attending her pre-K program due to the coronavirus crisis.
The mother told that Jacey has a speech disability and this year has been very good for her as she has made more sounds in school and is learning to speak better than before.
The mother said: “We’re just so happy that she enjoys school and has a lot of friends there.”
