K. honoring the hard work of healthcare workers. The campaign named #clapforourcarers urged everyone in the United Kingdom to come together to celebrate the hard work of those working in the healthcare system during this troublesome time.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex shared details of a campaign on their Instagram story. The post stated: “During these unprecedented times they need to know we are grateful.
Please join us: 26 of March at 8 pm for big applause (from front doors, garden, balcony, windows, living rooms, etc) to show all nurses; doctors; GPs [general practitioners] and carers our appreciation for their ongoing hard work and fight against the virus.
”
“Please share this message, so we can make sure the word spreads and reaches all to join!”
Amid all this, Meghan and Harry also honored all the mothers, grandmothers on the mother’s day sharing a post which read, “No matter what you call your mom, this Mother’s Day in the UK, we honor the moms all over the world who do so much every single day, and now more than ever. Thank you ❤️.”
Prince William and Kate Middleton also shared a message for Mother’s day alongside photos and a card Prince George made for his mom.
On Kensington Palace Royal Instagram account, the Duke Duchess of Cambridge wrote: ‘To mothers new and old and families spending today together and apart – we are thinking of you all at this difficult time. Happy Mother’s Day.

Little George made a beautiful card for Kate to celebrate Mother’s Day. The card featured a yellow vase with three red flowers made of tissue paper. Royal fans thanked Kate and William for sharing the post as it made them smile during this difficult time.

Another added: ‘3 beautiful and very loving mothers. Happy Mother’s Day to all Moms. I love Prince George’s card. Super cute.’
