You know it’s for the greater good but that doesn’t necessarily make being in a lockdown any easier, especially if you love the outdoors.
Luckily, there are now many ways to pass the time such as binge-watching and catching up on all those shows you’ve missed out on through the years.
For Courteney Cox, you may be surprised to know that she chose to catch up on Friends through the lockdown. Courteney, who played Monica Geller, says that while she was one of the mainstays of the show, she can’t really recall starring in it.
Funnily enough, she is also one of the few people on the planet who hasn’t seen the series from start to finish.
During an interview on Jimmy Kimmel’s Quarantine Minilogue, Courteney opened up about her secret. Since Kimmel can’t film in the studio, he has started streaming mini-versions of his show while the lockdown is in effect.
Through video calls, he has managed to keep in touch with the goings-on of celebrities.
Fans often ask her about trivia regarding the show, said Courteney, who has been in isolation for roughly two weeks.
She said: “I don’t remember even being on the show. I have such a bad memory. I remember obviously loving everybody there and having fun, and certain times in my life that I remember I was there for, but I don’t remember episodes.”
To remedy that gap in knowledge for a show she ACTUALLY STARRED IN, the actress decided to buy in on Amazon Prime and get acquainted with it while in isolation.
Courteney added: “I decided during this time – because people love the show so much – I decided to binge-watch Friends.”
During that segment, she also talked about the much-awaited Friends reunion.
Talking about how far along they’ve gone, she said: “We were supposed to do it Monday and Tuesday this week. We did speak with the producer one time. We had a meeting – it was really fun to have us all in one room.”
Ever since news of the reunion went public, Friends fans have been intently watching the social media channels of the cast for more news.
And members of the cast sometimes oblige by dropping some tidbits here and there. One example was the latest interaction between Courteney Cox and Matthew Perry, who played on-screen husband-and-wife Monica and Chandler, respectively.
On her Instagram page, Courteney shared a TikTok video of her performing the Monica dance that her character did with Ross on New Year’s Eve.
She captioned it: “Could this be why Coco and Johnny are socially distancing themselves from me?” in reference to her daughter and partner.
Perry then replied in the comments in classic Chandler fashion with: “Hi honey, what the h*ll just happened.”
