A woman found out her husband was cheating on her with multiple women, including one of her close friends and now they are living together amid lockdown.

A woman named Lisa from Nebraska has shared her experience of living with her husband after finding out about his infidelities right before lockdown.

Lisa told The Cut that she found out her husband of six years had been cheating on her with multiple women, including one of her close friends just before lockdown and she is now forced to live with him.

She said his affairs started after the birth of their child and she recently found out about it and is now left heartbroken.

She said: “I am heartbroken and unable to trust him emotionally, he is still in the house. Having to live in a space with someone who has disrespected me and lied so extensively, it’s boggling to the mind.”

Lisa told it is not easy to live with him after all that he did to her and it’s hurting her.

When she found out about her husband’s affair, she kicked him out of her house and he stayed in a hotel.

However, after the lockdown, he came back to live in the house and now sleeps on the sofa.

Lisa says it’s so hurting that sometimes she thinks about asking him to leave but she knows she can’t do that right now.

She said: “Luckily I am well-versed in compartmentalizing, so I am able to live in a space with him and have the ability not to pick up a knife.”

She said she can’t go out to talk about it with her friends and family and this is why she is unable to cope with the grief.

On top of that, she now has a child to look after and all these things are taking a toll on her mental health.

She added: “Still, amid the chaos that is the world around us right now and having a toddler that seems to have a changing attitude every two minutes, knowing that my husband is there in some capacity is better than not right now.

“We are all in this pandemic together.”
