Rihanna, the name is enough to know something massive is coming.
The woman made history becoming the first person ever to wear a durag on the cover of the most prestigious fashion publication of the country and the world, British Vogue.
The golden woman who is an actress, a songwriter, a singer and a businesswoman created history. She posed with a durag on for an extremely high fashion shoot.
She posed with the durag as Steven Klein, the critically acclaimed and respected photographer shot her pictures.
Coming inside the magazine, she talked to Afua Hirsch, British broadcaster who asked her about her experience. To which she answered by sharing her struggling experiences with racism as she lives in London.
The pop star that has won hearts around the world has been living in London for the past 3 years, making it home. She is settled in the fast-paced city as she loves the anonymous face she can keep on with no one giving a d*mn about who she is.
Living in the capital city of Britain she has developed a different perceptive on racism that the woman accepts is everywhere in the whole world.
She says that she believes the brutality by police is in extremes in the USA but racism is still present in all the parts of the world.
She says people are either blatant about it which is becoming a sort of trend. And then there are people with an underlying of it. They do not know that they are doing it.
But they are anyway doing it in an obvious sense. People have the curtains embedded in their minds that need to be taken out.
The star who grew up in Barbados says that she and her mother were immigrants and had her first experiences with racism right there as a very young kid.
