A group of lambs was spotted playing around in an abandoned playground, left empty because everyone is hiding in their homes due to the virus lockdown.
As people need to have some really solid reason to go out, the group of lambs seized the moment and took over a roundabout meant for kids.
They were in a very happy mood.
The heartwarming video was caught on camera by Debbie Ellis. She shared it on her Facebook page, writing: “On a lighter note the lambs are getting there once a day exercise in.”
The video, that was posted just a week back, has so far been shared 11,000 times and has received 2,800 comments.
A social media user commented: “OMG they look so confused.” Another wrote: “They’re having more fun than me.”
Yet another said: “That’s cute af.”
However, this is not the first or the only incident of animals taking over what is meant to be for humans.
A week ago, a video surfaced on Twitter showing a herd of goats causing trouble in Llandudno, Wales. The problem was so severe that the police had to be deployed to get rid of the goats.
The strange video was captured and posted by photographer Andrew Stuart.
The footage showed goats jumping on walls, wandering in the streets, and tasting the plants in people’s front lawns. Some even tried to make it to the top of people’s roofs.
Andrew captioned the video, saying: “I think I just got a group of goats in Llandudno arrested.
“Let me explain… first, I saw this from inside a dark pub (the one I live in currently). I thought I was seeing things.
“So I decided to see what was going on. They stopped on Trinity Square, and decided the hedges there looked very tasty (tbf, they probably are if you’re a goat.)
“They weren’t moving from their midnight feast. And they were probably going to run riot on the town, what with nobody being about due to the lockdown.
“I also wasn’t sure if they were keeping the required 2m apart.”
Town councilor Carol Marubbi wrote in the comment section: “They are curious, goats are, and I think they are wondering what’s going on like everybody else.”
She continued: “There isn’t anyone else around so they probably decided they may as well take over.”
One person commented with their own picture on lush green grass, writing: “The Great Orme goats have reclaimed Llandudno! Long live our caprine overlords!”
Replaced!
