Universal Credit Payments have increased again, offering welcome relief to struggling individuals in Britain.
It comes again after five-year benefits freeze, which ended on Wednesday.

Legacy benefits are basically the welfare payments struggling households that they received prior to Universal Credit was launched.
Its rise was announced last year in October, following the release of inflation figures in September. The figures were used to calculate the benefits increases that will come to effect from April 1st, 2020.

Rishi Sunak, the Chancellor, laid out a series of temporary measures that will be a part of his budget. There will be a Euro 20 increase to the payments to the previously announced rise.
The changes also encompass a rise in the Universal Credit standard allowance and Working Tax Credits along with the suspension of the minimum income floor of the Universal Credit.
The Chancellor said that from the changes, around four million struggling households would get the benefits.
