Fran who lives in Ottawa, Canada with family decided to adopted their Golden Retriever girl Lizzie 6 years ago.
They had an old golden retriever and he had just died. The very next day Fran was added to a local breeder ground and that is where they saw Lizzie.
Her picture was posted because the breeder needed a new permanent home for her. Apparently, she had a problem in her hip and was not suitable for breeding.
They saw her picture and went to pay her a visit. As soon as they saw her, they fell in love and they believe that is the exact same thing that happened to her as well. They adopted her and brought her home.
The very next year they thought it would be great to have 2 golden retrievers in the house. They are lovely dogs and this way Lizzie will have a best friend to play around all day too.
They contacted the breeder and he had Ally. He was just 8 weeks old when they had brought him home but Lizzie and Ally became best friends in no time. This was the best decision they had made.
They are both girls and they are both adorable. While one can say they are very similar, they are extremely different from each other at the same time.
Lizzie is the trouble maker and a more affectionate one. She is always jumping into things she should not.
Ally, on the other side, is always busy with herself. When they go out for walks, she is generally busy playing with the stick or with her ball. She would take the stick or the ball in her mouth and keep playing with it.
The one thing that is common in both of them is that they both love to cuddle.
