People living in some regions of India are being greeted with the crystal clear view of the Himalayas in decades.
One of the positive impacts of coronavirus is the significant drop in pollution, which cleared up the air, offering the view of great Himalayas.
Residents in Jalandhar, Punjab located in Northern India, approximately 125 miles from the mountains are enjoying the amazing view of Himalayas.
One of the many people celebrating the majestic view is Harbhajan Singh, a popular Indian cricketer. Along with him, many Indians took it to Twitter to praise the view and points out how serious air pollution is in the country.
In an interview, Harbhajan Singh said that he is extremely happy that pollution is decreased and he could see the Himalayas from his home.
The cricket further told that it was unbelievable to see the mountains from his home town and it is beyond his imagination. He also pointed out that this is a clear indication that air quality around his house has considerably improved.
The cricketer is staying at his hometown with his family and keeping himself busy during the isolation. He said that he is learning to cook, which is a new thing for him.
Moreover, he is also doing yoga with his wife and spending a lot of time with his daughter. The cricketer said that he wishes that everyone is staying sage and he is praying for the wellbeing of all.
India is currently under the lockdown of 21-days in an attempt to slow the spread of coronavirus in the country.
With fewer factories running and people on the streets, pollution in different parts of the nation has witnessed a drop, and there is less smog in the air. Presently India has over 6,412 positive COVID-19 cases with over 199 fatalities.
