Newfoundland is counted as the 5th largest dog breed in the entire world. These dogs can get as tall as 27 to 30 inches and weigh 150 pounds on an average.

The giant dog breed is Canadian. The fishermen used these dogs to help them on board. These dogs are massive but are natural swimmers.

Their feet are webbed that help them in swimming without any training. The giant dogs that are always warm under their thick fur, are great swimmers and can save a drowning man’s life with almost zero efforts.

While they have always been helper dogs, their loyalty is one thing that makes them the perfect fit for families.
