The footage taken in Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada shows one of the vehicles attempted to make a left turn then two cars collided in an intersection.
The video was shared by a Facebook user named David Ursino. In the video, a red car starts to make a left turn at an intersection in Richmond Hill when a white vehicle crossing the intersection bangs into the front of the car near the passenger side.
Many people commented on the video posted on Facebook and criticized the drivers who pulled away from the accident without offering assistance.
Man and woman in the red car suffered serious injuries and were taken to a trauma center.
Ursino wrote in a Facebook post: ‘’I was worried it was going to blow up so I decided we had to pull the guy out right away,’’
‘’I had to pull as hard as I could to open the driver door and get to the driver who was unconscious. Fortunately, there were another couple of guys near me. I had to pull the guy out carefully while getting someone else to support his neck and head and someone else to grab his feet. We laid him down about 30 feet from the car (which thankfully never erupted in flames).’’
He added: ‘’He woke up and all he was concerned about was making his last class at York University. I waited with him until the police and paramedics showed up.’’
