A lot has been said about being born with a silver spoon in one’s mouth and why these people find an easy way to success and riches.
And then there are those who berate the poor and assume they are just lazy. But while there are cases like that, it’s really so much more complicated than that.
There are those who remain poor because of a system that is seemingly stacked against them like not being able to complete one’s studies because they don’t have the money to pay for it but then unable to get a job that would earn them more precisely because they lack the educational credentials. This will only be compounded by the costs of living that may eat up whatever one may have earned so that one can’t save enough to get a better education.
But there are those who through both hard work and luck have managed to work their way out of poverty and a man named Jayvee Lazaro Badile II is one such person.
But there are many stories of people who have managed to climb out of poverty.
But what made Jayvee go viral was a post that mentioned how he repaid his adoptive parents by giving them the life they always dreamed of.It wasn’t an easy journey to be sure but Jayvee wanted to repay his parents for all the love and care that they showered him with even though they didn’t have much themselves.
In a Facebook post that went viral, Jayvee posted a photo collage that showed him with his adoptive parents.
“Nanay is a vendor, Tatay is a porter,” he wrote. “Now that I have the chance to give back to them, I will make sure they will live their dreams better than what they could ever imagine.
“I was 3 months old when Nanay and Tatay adopted me. Life was very difficult. I had to be working as a student, and we were happy if Na got to make 2 meals a day. On top of that, we lived in a 20-square-meters (215 square foot) apartment.”
Despite not having much, Jayvee’s adoptive parents worked hard to provide for him and raise him. And it was enough to propel Jayvee on the path of success. He never forgot the struggle to achieve a better life and now wanted his parents to experience the fruits of his labor.
The mansion he bought them features seven bedrooms and all the amenities that you could want in a luxurious home.
“I paid for the house in cash and it was built in a year. It has 7 bedrooms, and we didn’t bring anything from the old place except the TV I bought for my family as a Christmas gift earlier.”
But it’s not just the house that Jayvee gifted his parents because he also takes them on trips around the world and he tries to spend as much time with them as he can.
He truly has a generous heart that has served him in good stead even from his humble beginnings.
