Little Woman Atlanta star Ashley Ross, also known as Ms.
Minnie, has died at the age of 34 after a hit-and-run crash, her managers confirmed.
Ms. Minnie was left with severe injuries from the incident.
“It is with profound sadness that we confirm on behalf of the family of Ashley Ross aka ‘Ms Minnie’ of Little Women Atlanta has succumbed to injuries from a tragic hit and run car accident today at the age of 34,” Ashley’s management company said in a statement.
“The family respectfully asks for their privacy as they grieve during this very difficult time.”
The star was severely injured when her car crashed with another vehicle near Old National Hwy in Atlanta, according to People.
She was rushed to Grady Memorial Hospital where she passed away from her injuries the next day, her publicist Liz Dixson told People.
A spokesperson for the show, which first aired in 2016, said: “She was the most beautiful, kind, giving, generous human ever. She was adored by cast and crew because she always wore her heart on her sleeve. There’s nothing she wouldn’t do for those she loved.”
The show follows little women living in Atlanta as they cope with careers, friendship, drama, and men.
Ashely starred on the main cast of every season, including the latest one, which is scheduled to air this year.
Her co-star, Amanda Salinas, wrote on Instagram: “As I’m writing this I’m in tears I can’t believe it my Minnie !!!! Why did they take you away from us !!!! WHY!!!!! It always seems like we have all the time in the world, only to realize how fleeting it really is.
“I wish we had more time to do and say the things we saved for later which along with you is gone forever.”
