There are no boundaries that can weaken love.
This elderly couple has been proving that by destroying the obstacles in their way as one is stuck in Denmark and the other one in Germany.
Love has no age and understands no barriers. This elderly couple 85 years old Inga Rasmussen, and 89 years old Karsten Tüchsen Hansen old found their love story just two summers ago.
Ever since the couple found each other, they had spent almost all their time together but now are bound to stay in different countries.
With the breakout of the pandemic, the lovers are forced to live in their separate houses in two different countries. Karsten Tüchsen Hansen is in his hometown in Germany while Inga Rasmussen is stuck in her hometown in Denmark.
Well, although there are borders of nations between the couple, they just live 15 minutes away from each other.
But as the safety measures from the pandemic have been taken by all the nations, the borders have been closed down and so the lovers have been physically separated.
But this cannot keep them away from each other as they have found a loophole.
Every single day, the couple meets at the border, sit, talk, laugh, and drink together. Luckily the border had been closed by a very flimsy wire which does not make it hard for them to feel each other together in the same room while they are still sitting 3 feet apart.
Rasmussen who lives in the town of Gallehus drives to the border every day with coffee and a table. On the other side, Hansen who lives in Süderlügum rides on his electric scooter every day and brings chairs for the couple to sit on and have a good time.
The couple is not risking it. They maintain social distancing in proper order but they do not fail to exchange gifts and food they make for each other like cake, cookies, etc.
