Duane Chapman, also known as Dog the Bounty Hunter, professed his love for his new girlfriend ten months after the tragic death of his wife, Beth Chapman.
Taking to Instagram to open up about his new relationship, the 67-year-old star expressed his love for his new girlfriend, Francie Frane.
“I scream & Cry Beth where are you why did you leave me then I look up & see you Francie & the pain turns to a smile I LOVE YOU WOMAN !!” the bounty hunter wrote as he shared a photo of his girlfriend on Instagram.
Frane, 51, is a Colorado-based rancher who’s been dating the widowed man for a few months according to The Sun.
She, too, is a widow, whereas Duane allegedly learned of her husband’s death after reaching out to him to ask if he was available for a gig.
As Lyssa Chapman, the Dog’s daughter, expressed, her father and Francie are helping each other cope with their loss.
“They are both so happy together and they are good for each other. Francie has been very respectful to all the kids – and to Beth’s memory – and my dad is the same way with Bob and their children,” Lyssa said according to The Sun.
“(…) He’s the happiest I’ve seen him in a long time – he’s so in love and wants to spend the rest of his life with Francie.”
As the daughter went on to explain according to the outlet, both Duane and Francie are respectful towards their previous relationships whereas “they’re not trying to replace each other’s partner.”
Reflecting on her newfound love was also Francie who took to social media to expressed her love for Duane.
Along with a sweet caption, the 51-year-old also shared a photo of a handwritten message that read:
“You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have!
“So you cling to God & to His word with all your might because it’s all you know to do.
“Then one day I looked up from the ashes and there you stood. Wow God!”
