Prince William and wife Kate Middleton celebrated their wedding anniversary by sharing a throwback photo from their big day with their fans.
The Duke and the Duchess of Cambridge celebrated their wedding anniversary on April 29, nine years after tying the knot in a worldwide watched service.
“Nine years ago today – thank you for all your lovely messages on The Duke and Duchess of Cabridge’s wedding anniversary!” the Kensington Palace wrote.
In the photo, the royal couple can be seen smiling from ear to ear as they exited the cathedral followed by best man Prince Harry and bridesmaid Pippa Middleton.
In the years following their special day, the Duke and Duchess gave life to three children including Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.
Congratulating the couple for the occasion were hundreds of people who wished them a happy anniversary and more good years to come.
“A very happy Marriage Anniversary to our Idols,” someone commented on Twitter. “May your love grow even stronger in years to come.”
“Happy Wedding Anniversary to you two! Keep balancing your love for each other, your respect for family and the public with your devotion and duty to the Crown. You are awesome and we love you!” another fan expressed.
Since the coronavirus lockdown has been imposed, William and Kate have been isolating at their home together with their kids.
Nevertheless, they continue to perform their royal duties and have appeared in numerous video calls and conversations with charities and hospitals around the UK.
Recently, the entire family also appeared in a video broadcasted by BBC1’s Big Night in which they were seen clapping for carers and frontliners of the battle against the pandemic.
