Rose and Matt had been married for quite some time but Matt’s work had taken a turn recently.

He had to spend more time away than at home. He was constantly traveling and could only come home once in a while.

Rose is a strong woman and she loved her alone time but she had also started missing her husband.

One day when she came back home, she found a bouquet of lilies resting on the table for her with a note that read “Love from Matt.”

The same day when the couple connected on the video call Matt pretended to not know where did the flowers come from.

It got Rose even happier because he was being very romantic with the gesture. However, he used to send her roses because “Roses for Rose.”

The following weekend when he came home, he told her that he will have to be in Singapore for a week every month, she gladly accepted and celebrated it.

When Matt was in Singapore, he mistakenly video called Rose one day. He was probably not aware of the call as the screen was not on and she could hear voices in the background.

It was Matt talking to a woman. She had called him hilarious and he had asked her to come back to her hotel room.

Rose decided to find proofs if he was cheating on her before taking any actions. She then took out his call details and found a number he had contacted frequently. The number belonged to a woman named Lily and there she had it.

Remember the flowers he had sent to her? it was “Lilies for Lily.”

Before he could come back home, she cleared out her space, took all her stuff, and went away. She left their bedroom filled with lilies and left just one rose there to remind him that Rose is gone.

They then only met to get a divorce. Matt still does not know how she found out.
