Imagine being a dog and not being able to run around.
Yes, it is hazardous because what all dogs love to do is walk around or run as soon as they are left free or even when they are on a leash.
These 6 dogs were no different but unfortunately, they had lost their legs. But they were fortunate enough to be able to run around with the help of their customized wheelchair.
An elderly couple living in New York City of the USA, 59 years old Mary Fayet, and 62 years old Thomas, decided to foster small dogs with no legs back in 2013 and they haven’t looked back since then.
Right now the couple spends its time taking care of 6 little dogs.
- Tomez – He lost his front legs in an accident in Poland and uses a rear wheelchair.
- Charlie – He had an injury in his back.

- Tobi – He is a mix of Shih Tzu and French Bull Dog and uses the wheeler.

- Tootsie – This one also uses a rear wheeler.

Mary says “we adopted our very first specially-abled dog back in 2013 named Lexy and she was amazing.
She spent every second of her life with all the fun after we had got her a wheeler. We take all our dogs on an adventure around the city and they love it.
There are so many owners out there who would love to have a wheeler for their dogs. I have heard about so many people who had to put down their dogs because they could not walk on their own.”
