Ryan Murphy, the co-creator of American Horror Story, has finally unveiled the poster and cast of the season 10 of AHS.
On Tuesday, Murphy posted the photo of the very first poster of the upcoming season of the show on his Instagram account.
The screenwriter also left a teaser for AHS fans by revealing that the new series could be featuring spooky seaside.
The photo of the poster that was shared to Instagram clearly demonstrates the AHS logo with number 10 printed in red in the background.
The shot shows a scene from a dismal and inhospitable beach, in which two rough hands are strictly clawing up a cliff by the beachside.
“Things are beginning to wash up on shore…,” Murphy wrote in the caption.
While the names of previous seasons of the horror anthology are Murder House, Coven, Asylum, Cult, Freak Show, Hotel, Apocalypse, 1984, and Roanoke, the title for the upcoming season hasn’t been revealed yet.
The 54-year-old had also unveiled the whole cast for the prospective story, almost two weeks before sharing the poster.
The roster which Murphy shared on Feb 26 disclosed one new entry in AHS, Macaulay Culkin.
Evan Peters and Sarah Paulson who didn’t show up in the ninth season will also be returning to the show in the new season.
Other cast members include stars from the previous seasons, Billie Lourd, Kathy Bates, Finn Wittrock, Leslie Grossman, Adina Porter, and Lily Rabe.
In January, FX announced that the show will be continued for at least 3 more seasons, bringing the total number of AHS seasons to 13.
Paulson confirmed her return to the anthology show on a press tour of the Television Critics Association.
When asked about whether or not she’ll be appearing in the upcoming seasons other than 10, the 45-year-old actress replied: “God willing, I have no idea.
“But I do know that I did ask Ryan, if the question was asked to me, could I say that I was coming back? And he said, ‘Yes, you can say.’”
She added: “So yes, I will be back on American Horror Story.”
The latest series from AHS was broadcasted in 2019 from September to November.
Emma Roberts, Grossman, Lourd, Matthew Morrison, Cody Fern, Gus Kenworthy, and Angelica Ross were the ones who starred in the previous season.
