When you go into a club, bar, or any establishment, you understand that any misbehavior could get you banned or kicked out.
That’s exactly what happened to these two adorable emus when they were banned from entering a pub because of ‘bad behavior’.
Carol and Kevin may appear like adorable and curious animals. However, they are so much more once you get to meet them.
The Yaraka Hotel has been very welcoming to anyone who goes through their doors that they have let Kevin and Carol roam around the building.
But the adorable emus have started to steal visitors’ foods and their car keys, make a mess when they visit the loo and rummage through trash.
Because of their ‘bad behavior,’ they have been told they are no longer welcome in the building. Poor Kevin and Carol.
Gerry Gimblett, the pub owner, says Carol and Kevin are the last emus from a flock of nine. In an interview with AAP, he said: “The rest were all hit by cars and Kevin and Carol are the last two left.
“They are beautiful, very friendly – a bit too friendly if anything! They make a bit of a mess.”
The owner also placed a rope across the entrance to prevent Carol and Kevin from entering through the door.
The pub also placed a sign that read: “Emus have been banned from this establishment for bad behaviour. Please let yourself in through the emu barrier then reconnect please!”
In an interview with ABC, Gerry said: “They still hang around each gate, hoping that they’ll be able to slip in when someone opens it up. But so far we are winning the war.”
