Chrissy Teigen has reportedly been hospitalized after suffering excessive bleeding while expecting her third child with singing icon John Legend.
After being rushed to the hospital due to complications associated with her high-risk pregnancy, Teigen came up with an update in which she confirmed that she and the baby are doing okay.
“We all know I’ve been on bed rest for a few weeks. And that’s super serious bed rest, like get up to quickly pee and that’s it. I take baths twice a week, no showering,” the 34-year-old model and TV personality explained.
“I was always, always bleeding. I’m about halfway through pregnancy and blood has been going for a month. So like, maybe a little less than a month.
“We’re talking more than your period, girls, but definitely not spotting. A lot of people spot and it’s usually fine.”
As Teigen added, however, her condition worsened over the weekend and she was forced to go to the hospital due to excessive bleeding.
“But today, the big difference was that it kind of was like you were to turn a faucet on to low and leave it there,” the model added in her video.
“It’s so weird because I feel really good. I’m usually at my happiest pregnant, mood-wise. I feel happier than I do not pregnant.
“That’s why it’s so hard for me to come to terms with [this]… It was at the point today where it was never stopping bleeding.”
According to the 34-year-old, her “placenta is really weak” and she wishes for her fans and followers to stop playing “guessing games” and coming up with theories about what she could be doing wrong.
Speaking of her unborn baby boy, Teigen revealed that “he moves a lot” and is “growing stronger” than her other two children Miles and Luna.
“The baby is so healthy, growing stronger than Luna or Miles. He moves a lot. He moves so much earlier than they ever did… he’s so different than they were. He’s strong,” she said.
“I’m so excited for him, because he’s so wonderful and just the strongest little dude – so I can’t wait for him. But he’s like the strongest dude in the shi**iest house.
“He didn’t have the strongest chance at the very beginning, so all we’re doing now is trying to make sure he’s got a lot of fluid around him and that I’m resting as much as possible.”
