Meet Graham McMillan, a 24-year-old and his best friend Danny Kolzow, 23, who live in Fort Worth, Texas.
They are close friends, always doing things together. Unfortunately, Danny was in desperate need of a kidney. If you or anyone you know has ever been on a list waiting for a kidney transplant, you will know how terrifying it is to not know if you’ll make it in time.Graham wasn’t about to lose his friend and began to find out if he could give one of his kidneys to his best friend.
Wow!Incredibly, they were a match! Graham was happy to be able to really help his friend in a true time of need.
Graham decided he wanted to surprise his friend with the great news.

Graham went to the hospital where Danny works, with balloons and a sign in tow. The sign says “Heard urine need of a kidney, want mine?”, humorously. Graham couldn’t resist throwing a joke into this moment.
Danny can hardly believe his eyes. Emotions begin overtake him as he almost breaks down. His happiness is contagious as you can’t help but be happy for him. Not only will he get a life saving organ, but he also knows how much Graham values their friendship. To give one of your organs to someone is pretty crazy!
Truly a strong friendship that will last them for the rest of their lives. At the end the two embrace for a strong hug.
