GOP Representative and QAnon supporter Marjorie Taylor Greene has lashed out at Twitter after the tech giant suspended her account for 12 hours.
Shortly after the ban was lifted, Georgia’s 14th congressional district representative shared a post on Twitter and scolded the platform over their decision to temporarily ban her.
“Dear Twitter, Contrary to how highly you think of yourself and your moral platitude, you are not the judge of humanity. God is,” Greene proclaimed.
“And you and the rest of your pals from the Silicon Valley Cartel are not God.”
Twitter temporarily suspended the account of Rep. Greene shortly after the newly-elected congresswoman urged Americans to mobilize.
As ProPublica reported, Greene, on Saturday, called for all Americans to “mobilize and make your voices heard” before proceeding to delete her own tweet.
“I encourage all Americans, not just the 75 million people who voted for President Trump, to mobilize and make your voices heard in opposition to these attacks on our liberties,” she reportedly wrote in her tweet.
On the following day, the Republican’s staff informed members of the public that Greene’s Twitter account had been suspended for 12 hours without an explanation.
“Just days after the Silicon Valley Cartel launched a multi-front attack to chill free speech in America by deplatforming President Donald Trump and purging an unknown number of conservatives, Twitter has decided to suspend my personal account without explanation,” Georgia’s 14th congressional district representative said in a statement.
In her statement, Greene also went on to call for Congress to “act swiftly” in order to protect free speech because conservative Americans “shouldn’t be afraid to speak their mind.”
“Americans’ rights are being stripped away and they aren’t heard by the people they elected to represent them,” she added.
While it is not clear which of Greene’s tweets resulted in the ban of her account, the Republican recently made a series of posts in which she alleged election fraud and insisted that Dominion voting machines were compromised.
“The 1/5 disaster in Georgia lays solely in the hands of state leadership who failed voters in our state. @GASecofState and @GabrielSterling were begged by Republicans to fix our elections. They did nothing. They are to blame,” the lawmaker tweeted on Sunday morning.
“Morons like you are responsible for losing GA’s 2 Republican Senate seats. You ran a Nov 3rd election that was stolen bc you idiots at the SOS mailed out millions of absentee ballots to any one and everyone while GA was an open state. Then you counted ballots on Dominion,” she added.
