Like other holidays, families love to celebrate Mother’s Day, with children giving their moms flowers, chocolates, cards, and more.
One mom was so excited when her son gave her a handmade card that she decided to show it off on TikTok.
But when she opened the card, she noticed a brutal ‘disclaimer’ at the bottom.
In the TikTok video Becca Thompson shared, the thrilled mom can be seen showing off the card with red stars glued on the front.
“Admiring the home-made card from my son,” she wrote.
The message inside the card read: “Happy Mother’s Day, from Alfie.”
However, Becca noticed another message at the very bottom of the left side of the card.
It read: “I was forced to do this.”
Her video quickly went viral on Tiktok, gaining over 88,000 likes and viewed more than 750,000 times.
“It’s a boy thing. I had a drawing of a poo with flies around it on my envelope and didn’t even write mum,” one person commented.
“KEEP IT FOREVER. And bring it out when he is older,” another wrote.
“This is why homemade cards are so great. The gift that just keeps on giving,” a third said.
“I got a birthday card from my partner of 11 years signed ‘all the best’, no lots of love, no best wishes,” someone else shared.
“Mine said Happy Mother’ Day, thank you daddy for everything. He’s a daddy’s boy,” another commented.
“He’s gonna be the main character in his class if he’s not already,” a different user wrote.
