The Daily Record state how they had found the second child, clearly “upset” with the situation at hand.
In Scotland, Claire Boyle, decides to act upon her own morals and trap a young, two year old boy in a cot cage that had been dirty from a used diaper.
When questioned, Boyle told sources that she created the cage for the boy’s protection, but protection from what? If the second child hadn’t escaped the house and “tattle-taled” to the police, then the woman’s cruel actions wouldn’t have been acknowledged.
He had escaped the flat through the window, bringing attention to the neglect of the first toddler, 2.
The four-year-old had been found in only pajamas, soaked from who knows what. Sources say that the older boy had been alone and that his pajamas were soaked, where bystanders decided to take quick action and bring him to the hospital.
What the doctors found on his body were shocking: it led to assumptions of his bruises becoming blood cancer of a blood clotting disorder.
When police investigated the property, they discovered that the two-year-old’s diaper was full, he was upset and hung low in the makeshift cot.
In order to stop the young boy from getting out, the bottom of the cot was removed, the cage started to become more dangerous but the woman insists that it all happened because of the second child. She exclaims that it was “all his fault.”
If one were to describe the cot properly, an officer tried his best to and tells sources, “It looks like what I’d describe as belts from a dressing gown, tied to secure it.”
In order for Boyle’s makeshift items to work effectively, she started to put things in front of the window, and then put the foundation over the top of the cot to prevent the kid from letting himself out the window.
When the older boy was found, he had appeared to have a lack of food in his system, when found, he was fed well.
Pointing out the problem of his eating habits, a consultant pediatrician, Dr. Christine Findlay, says “That’s not normal behavior. That’s a child who’s hungry and took the opportunity to eat food when it’s being presented to them.”
Luckily, Boyle and her partner, Timothy Johnstone, had been convicted of neglect — both being involved in the crime. Alongside that, the judge had requested for background reports to be prepared before sentencing, then closing the case.
Sources also heard that she has tried to sell a child for £1million.
