Ellen DeGeneres has been accused of not being a nice person behind the cameras and now her ex-staffer confirmed the claims saying it is ‘all true.
’
The 62-year-old host has been labelled as ‘’one of the meanest people alive” previously by comedian Kevin T. Porter. Her former employees have said the same thing about her as one user claimed a former head writer for The Ellen DeGeneres show Karen Kilgariff was ‘fired’ because she ‘wouldn’t cross the picket line.’
Now an anonymous source spoke to the New York Post, claiming the stories of Ellen’s rude behavior are all true. The source said, ‘The stories are all true! ‘Is she always nice? No. It irritates me that people think she’s all sweetness and light and she gets away with it.’
Ellen’s former bodyguard Tom Majercak said Ellen’s gentle persona was a ‘bravado’ and ‘false facade’. He described his experience working with the star as he told Fox News, ‘’I’m holding their hands and walking [Ellen and wife Portia De Rossi] through individuals and large groups of people. Ellen is the one person that I’ve been assigned to – and I’ve been assigned to quite a few celebrities – that has never taken the time to say hi to me.’’
‘‘It started going negatively when she introduced me to Ellen and Ellen pretty much just gave me a side glance out of her eye and didn’t even say “hello,” or “thank you for protecting my mother, my wife and me.
It was very cold and it was very sly and it was actually kind of demeaning in the way that she treats people other than those who are in her circle.
’Beauty blogger NikkieTutorials also slammed Ellen, saying the host ‘didn’t even say hello’ when she made an appearance on the show in January. However, Ellen has denied claims of her being rude to the staff as she told the New York Times in 2018, ‘’‘That bugs me if someone is saying that because it’s an outright lie.’’
