Meghan Markle would reportedly put all family problems aside just to support her husband and be with him during Prince Philip’s funeral.
While sources told E! News that Meghan “wishes she could have flown to the UK to support her husband,” Prince Harry was forced to return to his home country alone after Meghan’s doctor advised the pregnant 39-year-old to stay put.
According to the insiders who spoke to the publication, Meghan would gladly put the tensions aside to attend the funeral and be there for her husband despite everything that happened between her and the Royal Family.
“Meghan wishes she could have flown to the U.K. to support her husband but has been advised not to due to her pregnancy,” a source told E! News.
As the insider revealed, Meghan and Harry are “still not on amazing terms” with Harry’s family even though more than a month already passed since the couple’s explosive CBS interview with Oprah in which they accused the royals of racism and claimed they didn’t do enough to help Meghan through her mental health struggles.
While Harry might find it hard to spend weeks away from his wife, the source suggested this time could serve as an opportunity for the young prince to mend the rift between him and his brother, Prince William.
In addition, the insider insisted that his wife should not get “involved in stressful situations” to ensure her health and the health of their baby girl.
