Caitlyn Jenner, former significant other of Kris Jenner, announced that she was running for Governor of California recently.
A source that is close to the family gives details to TMZ, saying that they were already aware of the situation, but have failed to give the support Jenner needs for her campaigns. The Kardashians do not want to touch on politics and disagree with her right-leaning views.
Kim, Kourtney, and Khloe Kardashian states that they will not publicly endorse anyone running for the governor position, and that includes current State Governor Gavin Newsom.
Jenner announces her bid through social media platform, Twitter, where she comments on her own characteristics. She says that she is a “compassionate disrupter” in comparison to what she calls Newsom, whose time as the governor for California is “disastrous.”
She also comments that California has been her home for nearly 50 years, yet the past decade has seen the “glimmer of the Golden State reduced by one-party rule that places politics over progress and special interests over people. Sacramento needs an honest leader with a clear vision.”
Her relationship with the sisters are still rocky, even after the split with Kris Jenner.
The family makes comments on their reality show, Keeping Up With The Kardashians, saying that they are navigating their relationship with Caitlyn Jenner. Although Kim Kardashian has a rapport in thee political space alongside former president Donald Trump, the family leans to the left more than Jenner does, hence the opposing views.
Kim Kardashian labels herself as a “liberal Republican,” but tends to vote as Democrat.
Kardashian has backed up President Obama and also wanted to vote for Hillary Clinton back in 2016, but tells sources that she was “on the fence,” since she last spoke to Jenner about voting for Trump.
Jenner still released the bid to run for governor, regardless whether or not the Kardashians will be by her side. It is shocking that her family would not give support or even publicly endorse, but further news will release as dates get closer to vote for the Governor of California.
