One Saturday morning, Samantha and Don Swaney were setting up for a yard sale at their home.
Then, a police car pulled up right in front of her house.
At first, Samantha was worried that the police officers showed up to ask her if she had a permit for yard sale.
To her surprise, Officers Hutchinson and Searcy only asked one question, which had nothing to do with the permit.
The officers explained that they had responded to a call about an unresponsive infant earlier in the day, and that they discovered the baby’s family was having a hard time financially.

Although the baby was better now, the family was in desperate need of a crib.
Because the officers wanted to do more for the family, they decided to go to a local store to purchase a new crib.
When they noticed that Samantha was having a yard sale, they stopped to see if they could get a used baby crib.
After listening to their story, Samantha knew that this was a sign from God.
Without any hesitation, Samantha told them that she does, in fact, own a crib.
And that it was brand new.
It turned out that Samantha lost her baby during labor few years ago.
Although she had been trying to cope with her loss, she could never get rid of the crib that she got for her baby. So, a brand-new crib sat alone in her attic.

Together, the cops and Samantha went up to the attic and brought the crib down.
She later sent a heartfelt message to the cops, thanking them for the opportunity to help out her neighbor.
“Perfect time is the right thing to say because with my belief, everything happens for a reason,” said one of the officers at the department.
What an incredible act of Kindness!
