A cop from Idaho who was found guilty of making a viral TikTok video that was aimed against NBA star LeBron James has recently been fired from his duties.
The cop recently went viral after his new video mocked the star who threatening to kill an Idaho-based police officer. Right after the video’s scrutiny by higher authorities in the police department, local media outlets spoke about how he was now off from his duties.
After the news went viral, authorities spoke about how the former cop released a statement regarding the incident, mentioning that he was the latest target to the cancel culture. Moreover, the officer was reportedly identified as a former deputy Marshal named Nate Silvester.
He reportedly spoke to Fox News recently, on Thursday where he opened up about the shocking incident that he certainly didn’t see coming.
Just a few hours after being dismissed, he mentioned how that was all there was to that particular story. Today, he is also being referred to the officer who turned into a viral video maker.
Silvester was reportedly suspended from all of his duties on the 24th of April as his TikTok displayed him making fun of the famous hoops legend, LeBron James.
James was forced to issue an immediate apology after he sent out a threatening statement against an Idaho-based cop regarding policing and the fatal killing of a 16-year-old girl named Ma’Khia Bryant.
In the viral video, viewers get a glimpse of the officer trying to pretend that he is having a telephonic conversation with the NBA legend in an effort to gain advice as he saw an imaginary black-skinned individual making attempts to stab another man of color.
The cop added, ‘so you don’t care if a black person kills a black person but you care if a white police officer kills a black person.’
