South Carolina’s Representative Lindsey Graham had plenty to say about the ‘poor’ performance displayed by the Biden administration, despite being six months since they took charge of the nation.
Speaking to reporters during a press conference on Tuesday, Graham explained how amazed he felt at the poor progress made by the Biden administration for all Americans, and hence he felt it was time for a wake-up call indeed.
“Just take a look at what’s happening.
The border is suffering from a crisis, Afghanistan is teetering too.
Look at China rearing its head and then you have the nation’s inflation rates increasing as we speak. There is a surge in lawlessness and the country’s police force does not feel supported too,” he went on to mention in a bold tone. Therefore, Graham mentioned to the press how he would soon be sending a personal letter to Joe Biden soon as well as the Pentagon to question the administration regarding the shocking circumstances that the country is trying to deal with.
Moreover, he also went on to explain how it was high time to re-assess the current situation regarding the country’s involvement in Afghanistan as America makes a move to push forward with its complete withdrawal of armed forces by the end of September.
As of recent times, Taliban forces have gained more power as the country faces a massive surge in violence. Moreover, they have even gone about defeating Afghan Forces from about 50 of the country’s 370 districts.
And this news comes when around 90% of American military forces have been withdrawn from the Afghan nation, he added.
In the same way, the Representative from South Carolina added how the country was facing another major partisan issue that related to the country’s dire state at the Southern Border. He also spoke about how it appeared that Joe Biden was in denial of the chaotic situation taking place over there.
