Dr Dre’s eldest daughter has revealed she has been living in her SUV as she can’t afford to get an apartment in California.

38-year-old LaTanya Young told Daily Mail that she hasn’t received a dime from her superstar father even though she has repeatedly asked for help.

The mother-of-four is now working as a delivery driver for Uber Eats and DoorDash and as an assembler at a warehouse.

Dr. Dre and LaTanya’s mother Lisa Johnson split when she was only 5 years old. She hasn’t seen her producer father in 18 years and does not even have his phone number.

LaTanya also said that she has to communicate with his dad, who is said to be worth a whopping $800 million, through his team.

“I’ve been working in a warehouse and doing Uber Eats and DoorDash,” she told Daily Mail. “My kids are staying with friends – they are not living in the car, it’s just me.”

“I’m taking odd jobs just to make it now – I got paid $15 an hour as an assembler at the warehouse,” she continued.

“I’m trying to keep my head above water. I’ve been in debt for a while.”

LaTanya also fears she will lose her rental vehicle as she hasn’t been able to make payments.

“The car is a pretty penny. It’s an SUV that costs $2,300 for three weeks and I only paid for one week.

“Sooner or later they are going to take the car.”

LaTanya and her children moved to California a month ago hoping she would earn more after her previous work dried up.

“The wage is higher in California – there was no work in Nevada. There weren’t enough jobs. I have friends and family that will let us come back and forth but the majority of the time I’m living out of my car.”

She said that she has been asking her father’s lawyer to help her out but was told that he will not give her money after she has spoken about her dad to the press in the past.

“I’m homeless and I’ve been reaching out to my dad for help,” she continued. “His lawyer has said that my dad doesn’t want to help me because I’ve spoken about him in the press.

“I feel like I’m damned if I do, I’m damned if I don’t. I’m just trying to communicate with him and see if he wants to talk to his grandkids.

“My kids are old enough to know who he is. They are in shock that he doesn’t want anything to do with them”
