A husband was shocked to his core after his dead wife appeared on TV years after he buried her.

The bizarre story takes place in Morocco where Abragh Mohamed was told that his wife passed away after being involved in a tragic car accident back in 2014.

After the doctors at a Casablanca hospital told the man that his wife had died of “serious injuries,” the husband went on to bury the body he was given without noticing that it didn’t belong to his wife.

Two years later, the man’s wife appeared on a popular TV show that follows people who wish to reconnect with long-lost family members and friends.

While Mohamed wasn’t watching the show at the time, he was shocked when his friends told him that his wife had appeared on the show and shared his name in hopes of being reunited with him.

Though it is not clear why it took the woman two years to reach out to her husband, it has since been suggested that she might have suffered memory loss and forgot about her identity in the accident.

It also remains unclear what Mohamed’s wife had been doing since the accident and why she was declared dead by the authorities in the first place.

“I did not know it was a different body that we buried and my wife was still alive,” Mohamed admitted in an interview with Spanish press.

As it has since also been revealed, the man’s wife had been staying at a small mountain town of Azilal since the 2014 accident.
