Tragedy struck for one family from Colorado who is now reportedly stranded in Kabul as their final flight back home got canceled after the Taliban invasion.

The father emotionally explained how his wife, as well as his kids, were visiting their family in Afghanistan and that’s when the Taliban invasion took place. When the family arrived, the situation was normal. But in a few hours, things went from good to worse as the Taliban soon began moving in to capture Kabul.

Now, the father says that he is doing everything he can to bring his family back home to Colorado as it’s absolute chaos over there and he can’t even begin to imagine how stranded Americans must be feeling near the Taliban’s presence.

While the father wished to remain anonymous, he did want to spread the word that the situation over there is currently a mess and there is chaos around the board. “There are so many innocent lives in danger,” he added.

The fact that the Taliban were present all over the city made things worse and now their presence in the airport is beyond imaginable.

In the same way, the father said that his panicked wife calls him everything and she keeps mentioning how the stronghold of the Taliban keeps getting stronger and stronger and it’s a daunting influence all across the board.

Now, his wife and kids wish to come home soon as they fear for the worst. The father opted to book a flight of Turkish Airways for last Sunday but unfortunately, that ended up in ruins as the flight was deemed canceled at the last moment. And that was literally hours before it was all set to depart to its designated destination.

“My wife and my daughters are current in a hiding at an unknown location in a home,” he went on to explain with fear.
