People found the bone of a deceased teenager who was presumed to have drowned in the ocean a year ago while helping his drowning loved one.
A 16-year-old resident of Australia went to Scarborough Beach in Perth on November 23, 2020, to celebrate the ending of his examination. He went into the ocean for a dip with his friends and cousins. Things went wrong, and everyone in the group tried to swim back to the beach.
Matiyas Bekuretsion was able to do so, but one of his cousins was stuck in the ocean. He went back to help her but unfortunately wasn’t able to make it out of the water this time. Though he succeeded in helping his cousin, he lost his life in the end and drowned in the water. He will always be remembered as a man of the hour for his heroic action.
This selfless and kind young hero was very talented and wanted to continue his career as a doctor because he was academically gifted. After the incident, his family suffered from pain and agony as he was a star for them who saved the life of a human being without thinking about his own.
When the person found the suspicious bone of a human being on the ocean, he informed the authorities immediately. After the initial forensic examination, it was confirmed that the suspicious bone belongs to Matiyas, who moved from Ethiopia to Perth a few years ago. Further investigations are going on.
