A 19-year-old young woman, Rachel Manning, was killed by a taxi driver at night, when she was returning from a party, but her boyfriend, Barri, was charged with her murdered and was put in jail for seven years until the real murderer was found.
Barri White, an innocent man, had to face the grief of losing his girlfriend along with the stress of wrong charges on him at a young age. He loved her very much and never in a million years would have done anything like this. He repeated these same statements in front of the police, but nobody believed him.
This incident happened in 2000 when the couple attended a party together and left for home separately. Rachel was unable to find a taxi at that time and even informed her boyfriend about it. Later, her dead body was found by a groundskeeper near Milton Keynes. Her face was badly disfigured because she was tortured before the murder.
Her family and her boyfriend were grieved when they came to know about this dreadful incident. Police considered that her boyfriend was the killer and arrested him. Some incomplete evidence proved him the criminal. The court sentenced him to a long punishment in the prison, and the man was devastated at that moment.
After so many years, the DNA reports, CCTV footage, advanced technology, and further investigation proved him right, and the police declared him innocent.
The actual murderer of his girlfriend was found as well, and now he is in jail as he was also involved in multiple crimes in past. Barri is happy that the actual killer is captured, and he got justice.
Barri is still suffering from depression and anxiety due to all the years he spent in jail.
All those years of his life would never come back, and he would never be able to marry the love of his life as she was brutally murdered many years ago. Ahmad, the actual killer, is the only reason behind the devastated state of this innocent and kind man, and would never be forgiven.
