This strange action is reported by a surgeon named Sarunas Dailidenas to a news channel. According to the doctor, a man was rushed to the hospital’s emergency when he was suffering from severe abdominal pain due to the consumption of some odd objects.
This man from Lithuania attempted something that blew the mind of the doctors. To refrain himself from drinking alcohol, he kept on engulfing metal objects found easily. These metal objects were small in size and easy to swallow. Nuts, nails, and screws were taken out from the stomach of this patient after a long and complicated surgery of three hours at the Klaipeda University Hospital.
This long surgery was performed by many surgeons at a time, as this case was particularly peculiar. Sources have revealed that the objects eliminated via surgery are four inches long and are made up of pure metal. Fortunately, the surgery went well, and the doctors were able to save this man’s life. After the extraction of these objects from the stomach, this weird patient was announced stable.
