NCIS star Mark Harmon was seen in high spirits outside his home for the first time since his retirement as Special Agent Gibbs.
The beloved 70-year-old actor, who played Leroy Jethro Gibbs in NCIS for 18 seasons, was spotted doing some heavy-lifting outside his LA home.
In photos shared by DailyMail.com, the former ‘Sexiest Man Alive’ is seen walking his dogs after transporting a large box into his home without getting any help from the deliveryman.
In one of the snaps, the veteran actor appeared to lick his fingers before taking the heavy load, which was marked as fragile, into his house with the help of his trolley.
For the occasion, the NCIS star wore a simple sweatshirt and jeans complemented with suede shoes.
The photos mark the first time Harmon appeared on camera after walking off the popular TV show as Special Agent Gibbs.
Though the actor will no longer play the beloved detective, the series’ producer Steve Binder has confirmed that Harmon will remain a part of the team as the show’s executive producer.
“As an executive producer and dear friend, Mark continues to be an integral part of the fabric of the show,” Binder insisted.
“Our north star has always been staying true to our characters, and that truth has always guided the stories we tell and where those characters go.”
Hinting Gibbs’s potential return to the screen, Binder added: “So regarding the future of Gibbs, as long-time fans of the show may have noticed over the years… never count Leroy Jethro Gibbs out.”
