Clive Blunden sheds light on his unique relationship with his mother-in-law, who soon turned into his wife. Clive and Brenda have a 12 year age gap but that doesn’t mean the couple doesn’t keep their passion alive. Yes, the pair have been together for over three decades now and they continue to go strong despite all the odds being against these two lovebirds.
The couple claims that they first began dating in the year 1989, which is approximately four years after Clive divorced Brenda’s daughter Irene. When Clive met Brenda, he was 65 while she was 77. But that did not stop the pair from falling for one another.
Clive had two daughters with Brenda’s daughter Irene but the duo divorced in the year 1985, paving way for a bizarre relationship to his mother-in-law.
The pair says that they first began dating under top-secret circumstances. But after one date, the duo started kissing over a pair of drinks and since then, they’ve never looked back.
“We fell in love immediately and people always had the assumption that our bond would never last,” explained the couple. But after more than three decades of love and laughter, they’re still going strong. Moreover, the duo says there’s plenty of passion that’s alive and kicking, not to mention their bond that they call ‘pure magic.’
“People keep betting that our relationship would end soon but here we are. We spend 24 hours a day, seven days a week with one another, and there’s just something so special about that,” the pair went on explaining.
The couple says that they fell in love over a night of drinks and that’s when they ended up kissing one another.
“We knew we were made for one another.” Therefore, they believe that you know when a person is destined to be in your life. And when they laid eyes on each other, that was their beginning to another chapter that they couldn’t be more grateful for.
