10-year-old beautiful Daughter of Roxy Jacenko from Australia has built and opened her own business, Pixies Fidgets, and Pixies Bows.
Pixie Curtis, 10, is a schoolgirl who set up her own toy business and could retire in just five years. At her age, she shares two businesses with her mom.
Stellar Magazine reported that the schoolgirl could be set for life before she even finishes high school because of her widely successful accessories and toy businesses that she started with her mom in Sydney, Australia.
In a joint interview with The Sun, her mother and PR, Roxy Jacenko, 40, told her daughter: “You won’t need to worry; you can retire at 15 the way you’re going.”
In the first month alone, Pixie’s Fidgets sold more than $200,000 worth of products. The mother and daughter duo officially launched the toy business in May and in the first 48 hours, their colorful popping and beautiful toys had completely sold out.
Curtis and Jacenko first launched Pixie’s Bows in 2011, followed by Pixie’s Fidgets in May, with the two ventures estimated to earn $21 million in the next decade, the outlet said.
But this isn’t just a 10-year-old business as her mom also created a hair accessory brand in her name when she was just a baby called Pixie’s Bows. The fidgets and hair accessories are sold on Pixie’s Pix website, which also stocks toys, slime, socks, bead kits, and other children’s goods.
According to the website, Jacenko oversees all product development, marketing, and branding while Pixie is in charge of product testing.
Jacenko said: “What is the most exciting thing for me is the entrepreneurial spirit that she has at such a young age. I never had it, although it was drummed into me that I had to succeed.”
“When I was 14, I got a job at McDonald’s because that’s what you did back in my day. So, I guess to me the biggest thing is her drive as a child and a successful business owner at the same time,” she added.
Jacenko has many successful communications businesses, including Sweaty Betty PR. In August, Curtis received a $350.46 Balenciaga flip-flop and a Prada Handbag for her 10th birthday not to mention the lavish party thrown in her by her family.
Jacenko, who works in PR, lives in a $6.6million mansion in Sydney with her kids and husband Oliver Curtis, who she married in 2012. While Curtis is still at primary school in Sydney, Australia, but she and her brother were each given a $186, 514.80 Mercedes Benz earlier this year.
Speaking about the Mercedes gifts in August, her mom said: “It’s of utmost importance to me that both she and her brother Hunter travel safely on the roads when going to and from school so I purchased a car for her.”
“Obviously she doesn’t drive it, she is driven in it as is her brother to and from school and for any activities. Given the number of fatalities on our roads, their safety is so important so if it means buying a car that has extra safety features that’s what I’ll do,” she added.
The safety highlights of the car, which can sell from $77,400 to $83,500 depending on its features, include a 360-degree parking camera and an accident anticipatory system.
Curtis said that she plans to use her earnings to treat her mom to a shopping spree as well as a luxury vacation for the holidays. She said: “I’m going to get her some new clothes because she has no good clothes at all, and I also want to get her some real hair because she desperately needs hair extensions.”
“Today, my friend told me his family are going to Paris for Christmas, and I think that’s just wonderful, so I told Mom I think we should go to my favorite place, which is Fiji,” she added.
While her children certainly have a solid head start in life, Jacenko has said that once they are old enough they will be encouraged to get jobs and work hard.
