A mother was left outraged after she paid $112 (£85) for a ‘Grinch visit’ only to have her home trashed and her son covered in green juice.

Laura Magill from Northern Ireland took to Facebook and shared her ‘disgusting’ experience, explaining that he hired an impersonator to ‘put toilet roll around the festive tree, mess the children’s beds, and have pillow fights during her son’s party.’

But instead, the character ‘came and stole Christmas’ by ‘destroying every single bit of party food,’ smashing eggs on the kitchen floor, pouring liquid and juice, breaking festive decorations, and drenching her son in juice.

Describing the damage done, the frustrated mother wrote: “So paid £85 for a grinch visit … advertises the grinch to come in mess the kids bed have pillow fights put toilet roll around your Christmas tree and pictures with the kids at the end.

“What I got every single bit of party food expensive cupcakes threw all over the place tree decorations BROKE !!! Fairy up liquid poured on my kitchen floor eggs smashed and a full bottle of juice poured over my floor and SON !!!”

She continued: “Kids new onsie ruined Highly highly DO NOT recommend… mailed and complained no reply. Grinch defo came stole Christmas. Never been so disgusted in my life.”

One amused Twitter user commented: “Paid for the Grinch, got the Grinch. No pleasing some people.”

Another wrote: “I’m actually mad confused. Why are there no pictures of the grinch? If she hated it so much, why didn’t she stop him at the time?”

A third said: “Maybe the funniest thing I’ve ever seen in my life.”
