One woman is going viral after ranting about her family affairs online, hoping for a solution.

The woman explains how her house rules may be a little different from all others and that includes the ‘no closed doors’ policy that is baffling so many readers’ minds.

Yes, the woman is in the middle of a dilemma as her husband reportedly removed her 14-year-old son’s bedroom doors. And that’s because he thinks the boy is just too young to have his own privacy at this age.

But the mother felt her husband’s decision was wrong and that’s when she opted to go behind his back and purchase another door. Things aren’t going too well in the house as her man is now fuming and beyond outraged at her wishes.

“My teenage son was just left with a hollow frame, despite the fact that I, being his mom, disagreed with the policy,” she revealed.

But the husband still insists that till the boy is under their care and supervision, they should be able to keep an eye on him at all times.

“It was my son’s birthday and I thought I’d give him the perfect gift by getting his door back,” the mother explained but it now seems that both husband and wife aren’t on the same page.

“He was beyond fuming when he returned and I don’t know what to do,” the mother says.

The story has been posted on Reddit and has gone viral, ever since. Now that the husband and wife’s relationship is strained, the mom is turning to the online community for help as she strongly believes every teen should have their own freedom.

“I don’t want him completely out of my site but I feel a little privacy is necessary for everyone,” the mother says.

Many felt that the husband never asked his wife’s opinion when he removed the door so she shouldn’t worry about not asking him when she re-installed. In the same way, others criticized the woman for tolerating a man like that for so many years- yikes!
