A one-year-old boy was reportedly pictured sitting on Santa’s lap and being so scared that he literally used sign language to call for help!
While the festive season may be fun and games for plenty, it can be a scary affair for others like this one-year-old boy who couldn’t overcome his feat of Santa while resting in his lap.
And that’s exactly the reason why this young child was pictured communicating the world ‘help’ in American sign language to others, especially his mother, hoping someone would remove him from the setting immediately.
Mom Kerry Spencer says she took her then-toddler to visit the Santa Claus at a public display, hoping he would enjoy the festivities on offer for the holiday season. But little did she know about her son’s fear of the giant bearded man in a red jacket- Santa Claus.
As the mother placed the toddler in Santa’s lap, she stood at a distance, hoping to capture her son’s perfect angle while sitting in his lap. But by the looks of it, the little child did not appear to be happy or comfortable at all.
Instead of crying or creating a commotion, the child appears to stay calm and uses American sign language as a mode of communicating or signaling help from a distance.
Sadly, his mother was the only one to notice the SOS cry, and that too, after she got the professional images in her mail.
The Utah mother is now sharing the hilarious incident on social media which has gone viral in no time.
Moreover, the mother also appeared for an interview where she revealed how she taught her two kids sign language even before they were able to speak.
And that’s exactly why the child is signaling for help in that manner, without having to utter a word.
