New reports about Betty White have begun to stir a new controversy as many grieve the loss of one of the most iconic stars of the country.
Betty White reportedly spent the final years of her life at a residence that she didn’t actually wish to live in, as recently reported by The Post.
Betty White passed away at the age of 99, just days before her 100th birthday. The news sent shockwaves and tears around the world as many couldn’t believe that the legend wouldn’t be able to ring in the new year.
White lived inside the home that comprised of five bedrooms, and six bathrooms in Brentwood. It was located in the West of Los Angeles.
But the trailblazing actress did not have her way in terms of staying in a place that she actually wished to live in.
Sources have gone on to reveal how the legendary actress would have remained at her own long-time marital home which was located in Carmel. She had first built that residence with her late husband by her side, Allen Ludden.
The couple first bought the land in the year 1978 and chose to build the home of their dreams.
“She never wished to leave her residence in Carmel, but she forced to for the sake of at-home care,” revealed one source to The Post recently. “Los Angeles was just more accessible for her,” the source went on to reveal.
“If Betty White actually had things her own way, she would have lived and died in her house in Carmel. It is the place that she shared with her partner and that is just where she felt so much more comfortable,” the source further explained.
