A mother is going viral after claiming she’s addicted to being a surrogate and can’t wait for baby number ten to arrive.

 

Last year, Huddersfield’s Laura McCarthy gave birth to a pair of twins as a surrogate and now, she’s all set to have her 10th baby. 

For Laura, being a surrogate is so addictive and she claims it’s the best job in the world and she wouldn’t trade it off for anything. 

At the age of 33, this young woman has just 4 children of her own but she has carried five other babies for couples that can’t have their own kids.

For Laura, nothing compares to the feeling she had after she became a surrogate for the first time, which was around 11 years ago. 

“Believe it or not, just that feeling of handing over the baby for the first time and seeing the level of contentment on the faces of so many couples is indescribable,” explained the mother of four. “They have instant and unconditional love for the child and that can be so addictive,” she explained. 

All of the surrogate pregnancies of Laura have been through the process of IVF and that means the couple’s fertilized egg gets implanted into her womb and that means genetically, none of those kids are hers. 

As a single mother, Laura says that nothing compares to the job of being a mom. And she feels more than blessed and grateful that she can assist someone to achieve their dreams of becoming a parent. 

Laura adds that the moment she gets to pass on the baby to the real parents is mind-blowing because they shower so much love once it’s in their arms. “The sight and feeling are so worth it and I won’t lie about how addictive it can be,” she explained.
