Meet Ada Keating who reportedly is 98 years old but despite her age, she has vowed to take care of her son forever. And if that means moving into a care home to look after her 80-year-old son, then so be it.
The mother who hails from Wavertree claimed that her 80-year-old son named Tom Keating had to move into a care home. And after he left, she felt something was missing in her life.
For that reason, she soon moved into the care home with him, just so she could be by his side and look after him, just like she did during his childhood.
“I was so worried about my child’s health and well-being so I made the decision”- she revealed.
Due to her son’s poor health, his mom felt that she would be the right person to look after him because he needed her throughout his life and now was no exception.
Today, the mother and son duo live together in the same location and couldn’t be happier.
During a recent interview with Liverpool Echo, the mother shared some heart-melting moments and conversations that the two have with one another and it certainly brought tears to so many people’s eyes. Moreover, it was a constant reminder of how a mother’s love is what stays forever, in the end.
“I love to say goodnight to Tom when he is inside his room each night. I also love saying good morning to him and telling him to come down for some breakfast too,” she revealed.
